salmanyusuf I enjoyed the B.A (Hons) course tremendously and cannot begin to describe how much I feel that I have benefited from the experience and the education; it has not only helped in my work environment but in my personnel life too. Coming to ICAT to attain my bachelor's degree was the beginning of a stream of opportunities. The course has displayed all the proverbial windows as choices and has also given me the opportunity to select the ones most suited to my interests. "What I most like about ICAT is the close Student-Staff and Student-Student relationships. They have great staff that supported and encouraged me every step of the way. Professors are ready to put all their efforts into supporting students academically and helping them achieve their goals.  They took their time to make sure I understood my coursework and best of all they even followed up with me to make sure I completed my work and returned it on time." Completing a bachelor degree is a small part of our life long journey. However, it is an essential part of our successful career. I’m now working as an Account Strategist at Adwords Services in Dubai.

Benjamin SyiemMy journey from Shillong to Chennai (ICAT) has not been without difficulties but I was determined to become a 3D Animator, which gave me the strength to fight all odds. At college I was always appreciated for my creativity and art skills by my professors and I was constantly motivated to master the technology and other aspects of Animation film making which I did successfully. My advice to students particularly from the North East is that when good ducation is available, don't restrict yourself to any location. Initially I too had certain inhibitions about South India but ICAT gave me a great education and a good opening in one of the best companies in India in Animation...

Abu Thahir Talking about my  life in ICAT gives me a big smile on my face. I never felt a typical college kind of environment there. It was more of fun along with studies. It was very much balanced. The kind of training we got from this college was really superb. I am proud to be part of the family. ICAT made sure that we all get really good training from vfx professionals. Needless to say it really helped us and gave a real picture of what exactly happens in the industry. After the course the management made it a point that we all get placed and they were 100% successful in it. Effort really paid off!!!! The training and my skills gave me a good job in TATA ELXSI, Mumbai (Thanks to ICAT).Later on I had moved to Anibrain, Reliance media works and curently working as a Team Leader in Technicolor. Working with such big companies gave me an opportunity to work on great flicks like Spiderman -3, Indiana Jones, Iron man,Dhoom-2, Pirates of the Carribean, Jodha Akbar, Red Cliff, Amelia, Invictus, Conan, Spartcus blood and sand etc. Wishing ICAT all the best and success for another 100 years.

S.Lakshmana KumarI have done my B.Sc(Math) is Madurai Kamaraj University. I was working as a still photographer at Madurai. I came to know ICAT through a friend of mine when I expressed my internet in doing a professional course in VFX. The content taught at ICAT was elaborate when compared to other institutions. And it was good to do a full time course than doing a part time (2or3hrs) course in an institute. Here we are able to learn from the industry professionals who come as guest lecturers. As a still photographer, I was interested in getting into media. Was always interested in films mainly. ICAT really helped me to hone my skills and also choose the right part. Through ICAT placements, I was exposed to well known companies in India. The department supported us till we got a job placement. Brand – ICAT has made us stand out in the crowd and we are given preference when compared to students from other institutes. At Pixion Chennai – I’m working as roto paint artist. I’m able to learn a lot here. Joined for Roto but I’m allowed to work in compositing and tracking too. I would like to help my juniors in guiding them with their projects and would like to give them inputs on the current trends in the industry. I was a part of Bollywood projects namely Luck by Chance and Victory which have been released in theatres. Currently working in hindi and kannada projects. Team- lead is happy with my out puts. VFX students should not only concentrate in Roto but also other areas like paint, tracking and compositing for entering into this industry.

VasantharajanWhen I graduated from Visual Communication, I was satisfied that the course was enjoyable but I felt one among the herd and didn't have an identity through my talent. I wanted to join a course that could educate me on my thirst for Live action and Computer graphics and that's how I got into ICAT. Our college trained us in extra skills in film making which one won't even know the importance until entering a production house and brought technicians from the film world. All these made most of us learn the practical aspects of producing a world class movie in terms of uality. I still maintain excellent rapport with my college and I remember the days spent there... colourful in my mind...

I attended seminar conducted by ICAT, Trichy branch from there I got the way for my game development. After joining in ICAT my life was completely changed. My faculties motivated me a lot on game programming. It’s something different which I can’t about my department faculties. The college conducted daily seminars, practical sessions etc which really supported us through out the course. Vaibhav PanchalI had passion towards game industry since childhood. Spent my entire life nothing else than playing games. Decided to take Gaming as a career when I was in 11th standard. ICAT gave me enough time to build my foundation along with portfolio. It also gave enough resources (e-books) so that I could "self-learn" (key aspect of game industry) about programming. Another benefit was meeting students with the same interest and passion. The company I work according to my personal opinion is one of the best in India...

RamatchandiranInitially I started playing games for fun. The interest became intense and I started thinking beyond playing like how games are designed, programmed and implemented. I chose to have a career when I was able to feel the deeper satisfaction I would get when my creative ideas are visualized on screen. ICAT guided me very well by giving all the required knowledge to enter the industry with confidence. The college gave me good exposure about the gaming industry, chance to interact with other game programmers and share their practical experience. It was a good course. Currently I have worked on a Console Game and our company has already earned a name for itself as one of India's leading game companies...

SreeprakashI started playing PC games seriously when I was in my high school. I started with 2d games like Dave, Mario and Prince of Persia before moving on to the more enthralling 3D stuff. Before coming to ICAT, I didn't have a clear idea as to what all goes into making a game, the tools used, the development cycle and the efforts involved. The exposure that I got in ICAT helped me on all these fronts. It helped me understand that Game programming is not all about your coding skills. You must be strong in Mathematics and Physics also because the ultimate aim of Game development is to simulate real world life, and all the aspects of daily life are governed by Mathematics and Physics. Besides, the company of like minded people, who shared the same passion for game development, was quite helpful and I got to learn a lot from them...

We had a Scholarship of 1200 pounds, paid nothing and in return got loads of experience along with certification from top 30 Global Gaming companies. The best part is that I was campus recruited much before the participation in the competition. That's the level of opportunity in Gaming in India...
