1 Year Full time Course Overview
The Game Design program concentrates on studies relating to the theory and practice used in developing media rich, interactive, digital content. The course serves to train digital artists and designers seeking a career in game production and related industries. Starting with a study in Art where the students learn Character, Costumes and Props designing, Level Designing, Interface design the course progresses to developing In-game content using low-poly modelling, unwrapping and texturing for games, Rigging for game engines, collision models, implementing “ragdoll” physics support, creating vehicles and finally exporting to various formats and engines. The course work finds application on diverse platforms such as Personal Computers, Game Consoles and Mobile phones. Students develop an interactive prototype as part of the course.
