Pongal Celebration

Students of ICAT DESIGN AND MEDIA COLLEGE celebrated Pongal - The harvest festival, in the college premises on 13th January 2012 (Friday).

Pongal is celebrated during the month of January every year in Tamil Nadu and is also one of the longest celebrations in the Tamil calendar, spread over four days .It is celebrated in all magnificence in a traditional style. Rangoli and pot painting contests were designed by the students and pongal was prepared. The winners of the first places were awarded prizes.
