I was interested in gaming right from my childhood. I came to ICAT when the interest intensified to developing games. ICAT is my life's turning point in becoming a Game Programmer. We (myself and 3 more Game classmates) were the first team ever from India to participate in a prestigious Global Gaming Competition titled, "Dare to be Digital" held in Scotland for 10 weeks.

We had a Scholarship of 1200 pounds, paid nothing and in return got loads of experience along with certification from top 30 Global Gaming companies. The best part is that I was campus recruited much before the participation in the competition. That's the level of opportunity in Gaming in India.

"I always used to feel that Game Programming is just a profession. But, later I recognized that game programming is a way of living and it means much more than simply playing games or programming them. ICAT has helped me in getting into Gameshaastra - One of the largest Game services company in the country."

"Talking about my life in ICAT gives me a big smile on my face. I never felt a typical college kind of environment there. It was more of fun along with studies. It was very much balanced. The kind of training we got from this college was really superb. I am proud to be a part of ICAT family. ICAT made sure that we all get really good training from VFX professionals. Needless to say, it really helped us and gave a real picture of what exactly happens in the industry.

After the course, the management made it a point that we all get placed and they were 100% successful in it. Effort really paid off!!!! The training and my skills gave me a good job in TATA ELXSI, Mumbai (Thanks to ICAT). Later on, I had moved to Anibrain, Reliance media works and currently working as a Team Leader in Technicolor. Working with such big companies gave me an opportunity to work on great flicks like Spiderman -3, Indiana Jones, Iron man,Dhoom-2, Pirates of the Carribean, Jodha Akbar, Red Cliff, Amelia, Invictus, Conan, Spartcus blood and sand etc. Wishing ICAT all the best and success for another 100 years."

After completing BBA, I planned to pursue MBA in abroad. I had interest in multimedia from my childhood and was searching for a good place. Then, I came across an advertisement of ICAT and spoke to my Dad. At the beginning, he was not interested. Later I convinced him, and he enquired about ICAT in one of the visual effects company in Chennai - in which he was working. They gave us a good response about the college, and I joined this college to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Effects.

Now, I am working with Reliance Media Works (An Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group) for the past 3 successful years as a Compositor in Mumbai. I’ve worked in all major Bollywood movies and South Indian movies too. I joined RMW without any support of my Dad. This was possible because of the good training offered at ICAT. I whole heartedly thank all the staff of ICAT.

After completing my Under Graduation in Business Administration (BBA), I wanted to do my Post Graduation in Visual Effects. But I was in a dilemma as to where should I join. Finally, I decided to join ICAT because it is the only 'College', unlike other institutes, which provides such an elaborate curriculum within a short period of 1year. It has been an exciting experience at ICAT. I got the opportunity to try and experience various techniques used in film making.

You have a great opportunity at ICAT. It’s up to you to utilize it to the maximum and get the best out of it. I should really thank the Placement cell for their outstanding support, which helped me to grab an opportunity at one of the global player in VFX, Prime Focus as Production Coordinator. The Placement cell always makes sure you get the right opportunity. Altogether, it was fun! Go, experience yourself !
