Session on 'Designing Effective Web Banner Ads'

In today's business world, promotion through online medium is becoming inevitable for one's business growth. This is because approaching our target audience through online is easy. But, it’s a big challenge unless the content and the design are powerful. So the Designers have to be well knowledged and skilled to create challenging designs, especially Web banner ads.

On this regard, a session was arranged for our Multimedia and Visual Media students on the topic ‘Designing Effective Web Banner Ads’. This session was presented by our successful alumnus, Mr. Nadhu Nair, Visual Designer at ZOHO. He explained the students about how to design banners effectively based on the audience, by choosing appropriate colors, typefaces, the right layout and composition. Mr. Nadhu Nair also clarified the doubts of our students.

At the end of the session, the students were taught how to seek inspiration from different Websites like Dribble, Pinterest, Evanto, Graphicriver and AdobeKuler for various works. Overall, the session went wonderful with great knowledge sharing.
