8th Convocation Ceremony 2016 from All ICAT Campus

ICAT Design & Media College organized its Eighth convocation on 3rd December 2016 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Chennai.

The convocation ceremony saw a total of 160 students, which included students from Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad campus, receiving their awards BA (Hons) Communication Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design and BA (Hons) Digital media Animation, Game Design and Game Development from the Chief guest Professor David Roberts Pro Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean from Birmingham city university, Special Guest William Campbell Associate Professor, Director of International Recruitment from Birmingham city university and Mr. Kumar, Founder & Managing Director of Image Infotainment Limited.

The graduates delivered their graduation speech, thanking everyone who made their achievement possible. Three graduates, Akhil Narayanan, Aswathi Nalumakkal Muraleedharan and Saswat Sourav Mishra were awarded gold medal for their academic excellence.

The ceremony kick started with lighting of lamp by our distinguished guests, Prof. David Roberts, Mr. William Campbell, Mr. Kumar, Mr. V. Anand Chief Technical Officer and the Mrs. Shaswati Academic Head.

Mr. Kumar gave the welcome address, followed by Prof. David Roberts addressing the gatherings on the importance of applying knowledge on society better growth with an employment for a longer duration.

The program was concluded with graduates throw their caps in the air—knowing that they will soon come down to earth and with closing speech from chief guest Prof .David Roberts, followed by photo sessions and refreshments.The event was a memorable one with inspiring messages from our guests and our honorees.
