ICAT Design & Media College offers Bachelor’s Degree Programs, Master’s Degree programs and Post-Graduate Professional Programs. Those who are desirous of seeking admission should have fulfilled the respective eligibility criteria.
Eligibility for Bachelor’s Degree Programs
(All courses except Bachelor’s Degree in Game Programming / Computer Science & Game Development and Bachelor’s Degree in Game Design & Development)
Students seeking admission for the Bachelor’s Degree Programs should have completed an education equivalent to Plus Two (Higher Secondary School). All streams of students who will be appearing for their Plus Two or equivalent in 2024 can also apply. Education that is equivalent to Plus Two includes the following boards:

- State Boards - Nearly every state in India has its own state education department and conducts board exams for class 12

Students seeking admission for the Bachelor’s Degree in Game Programming should have completed Plus Two (Higher Secondary School) or equivalent in which Mathematics and Physics (both the subjects are mandatory) were a part. Knowledge on programming languages like C, C++ or C# would brighten the chances of selection, though they are not mandatory. The aptitude test shall consist questions in logical reasoning, general aptitude, Mathematics (10th Level) and Physics (10th Level). Applicants who fail to clear the test shall not be awarded the seat for this course. Education that is equivalent to Plus Two includes the following boards:

Students seeking admission for the Master’s Degree in Multimedia should have completed 10 + 2 + Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Students who will be appearing for their final year graduation exams in 2024 can also apply.
Eligibility for Master’s Degree in Game Technology
Students seeking admission for the Master’s Degree in Game Technology should have completed 10 + 2 + Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University and should have also completed Plus Two (Higher Secondary School) or equivalent. Students who have completed Open University Degree without completing plus two are not eligible. Knowledge in programming languages like C, C++ or C# would brighten the chances of selection, though they are not mandatory.
Students who have not studied any programming language should appear for a special aptitude test conducted by the Game Department. The aptitude test shall consist questions in logical reasoning, general aptitude, Mathematics (10th Level), Physics (10th Level) and Programming Fundamentals in C++. Applicants who fail to clear the test shall not be awarded the seat for Master's Degree in Game Technology.
Eligibility for PG Professional Program Programs (All courses except Game Development)
Students seeking admission for the Post-Graduate Professional Programs (All courses except Game Development should have completed 10 + 2 + Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Students who will be appearing for their final year graduation exams in 2024 can also apply.
Eligibility for PG Professional Program in Game Development
Those who are seeking admission for the Post-Graduate Professional Program in Game Development should have completed 10 + 2 + B.E or B.Tech or MCA or M.Sc. Computer Science or B.Sc. Computer Science or BCA or B.Sc. Information Technology or any Under Graduation Degree with proficiency in C++ or C# or Python or Java along with Mathematics and Physics. Students who will be appearing for their final year graduation exams in 2024 can also apply.
Applicants who have not completed / pursuing any of the above mentioned Bachelor’s Degree Programs but wish to enroll into this course should take up aptitude test in object oriented programming languages, Mathematics and Physics. Applicants who score above the cut off shall be given the provisional admission for this course after the approval of the Head of the Department of Game Development.
Non-Eligibility for Post-Graduate Professional Programs
The following students are not eligible to apply for the Post-Graduate Professional Programs
- Students who have obtained TC from the Degree College without completing all the years of the course they had enrolled for.
- Students who have completed or pursuing 3 years diploma after 10th class but have not completed a Bachelor’s Degree or not pursuing the final year of a Bachelor’s Degree in 2024.
