Webinar on Vastu Shastra & its applications in Designing a Residence 2021 @ ICAT, Bangalore
The Interior Design Department of ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore, organized a webinar on "Vastu Shastra & its applications in Designing a Residence '' which is a very interesting topic in the Design field. The speaker for the webinar was Ar. Anitha, specialized in Sustainable and Green Architecture, History of Architecture and Traditional Indian Architecture.
Ar. Anitha explained about Vastu purusha mandala & its types which are the basics in Vastu Shatra. Why Vastu is important particularly in Residential building was the most interesting discussion in the session. The knowledge on five basic principles in Vastu was explained with the examples. Site selection & orientation, Bedroom & kitchen orientations as per Vastu were the highlights covered in the session. Students enjoyed and the session was fruitful and informative; the students were educated on Vastu Shastra and how the principles are applied during the designing. The session was very interactive and the speaker clarified all the queries raised by the audience. The students and faculties from other colleges who attended the webinar gave positive feedback.
